The 2007 Blues Festival has been the best yet! Please join with me in congratulating Joy and her team for the excellent effort in promoting Broadbeach. I would also like to congratulate Top Notch Productions for assembling a first class program of artists.

I personally attended each day of the festival and was very pleased to see everyone having a great time – the true essence of Very GC – in my opinion. Also, every venue and sponsor that I spoke with gave very positive feedback.

The visitor research will no doubt confirm the overall success of the 2007 event. That report is expected to be presented to the Board in the June meeting. As always, I am available to discuss this or any other matter further.

Just a short note to thank you for all your help with the filming we did for "The Mole". All of the tutors worked very well with our contestants and I would be grateful if you could pass on my thanks to them as well.

I am not able to give you an exact transmissions date at this stage but keep an eye on the Channel Seven schedules as the series starts roughly at the end of February and the episode with the tutors segment is in episode four.
